Individuals
What does a session look like?
We meet for an initial session to get to know each other and to explore your request.
During the session, we create a space of authenticity and safety, where you can settle in and express yourself freely, “as it comes.”You are invited to come with whatever is present for you in the moment: memories, questions, emotions, bodily sensations, concerns—big or small. We work with whatever arises and becomes active in the present moment, whether it comes from the past or from your current situation.
“I believe that, in their own way, the therapist is a witness to another person’s feelings, ideas, and characteristics, which deserve to be valued because life circumstances have not always allowed these qualities to develop.”— Joseph C. Zinker, The Creative Process in Gestalt
Therapy sessions take place in person and occasionally online (I use Whereby or Zoom), and last 60 minutes. I welcome you as you are, without judgment. I am fully present and engaged, working from a grounded and attentive stance that supports awareness of what is happening between us during the session. You are not alone—I am by your side to support you and help you develop new tools to move forward in your life.
Some of the themes we may explore together include:
=> the impact of the pandemic, grief, loss of meaning, feelings of emptiness, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, abuse, commitment, parenting, self-confidence, tensions within couples, at work, or within the family.
One of the aims of our work together is to help you reconnect with yourself, without overlooking the many aspects that make you who you are (your behaviour, past, beliefs, body, environment, etc.), in order to shed light on your patterns and give new meaning to your experience.
Each session is scheduled every week and lasts one hour, with a fee of €80. Any session cancelled less than 24 hours in advance is due.
Couples
The framework I offer
I work with couples in a confidential and supportive setting. My role is to remain equally available to both partners, without taking sides, while accompanying whatever emerges within the relationship. Each session is scheduled every two weeks and lasts one hour, with a fee of €120.
Depending on what is happening within the couple, sessions may occasionally extend slightly—up to 1 hour 15 or even 1 hour 30.
To begin, I suggest planning three sessions in order to get to know each other and to clarify what you would like to work on. Afterwards, couples work typically lasts around 12 sessions on average.
My approach
A Gestalt-based approach that explores and gives meaning to the implicit dynamics of the couple, in order to build a more conscious and better attuned relationship. The couple is seen as a dynamic process, co-created over time. Rather than working on each partner separately, I focus on the couple as a relational unit—on what happens between you, here and now, during the session. From the first meetings, I briefly explore each partner’s family and cultural background in order to better understand what each person brings into the relationship.
My work is grounded in Gestalt therapy, enriched with tools from Nonviolent Communication and Positive Psychology—providing concrete frameworks to navigate moments of tension and restore mutual listening. I also work regularly under supervision, ensuring a rigorous and continuously evolving practice.
“Conflicts are not obstacles to eliminate, but opportunities to restore mutual listening and more fluid emotional regulation.”
Three areas of work (examples)
1. Tensions, silences, and emotions are explored as a co-creation between both partners, not as individual problems.
2. The body carries each person’s history. Experiential work helps access unexpressed experiences and release emotional charge.
3. Giving words to past wounds that are being replayed in the present, in order to stop asking the other to repair what belongs to one’s personal history.
Situations I support
Repetitive tensions: recurring conflicts, mutual misunderstanding, feeling stuck in communication
Crisis or transition periods: doubts about the future of the relationship, questioning the bond, seeking clarity before making an important decision
Emotional regulation difficulties: reactivity, verbal violence, emotional distance, or emotional fusion—when one partner’s emotions amplify the other’s
Building a shared project: desire to strengthen the bond, moving from fusion toward a more differentiated and conscious relationship
Common themes that emerge
Communication within the couple
Conflict and truly listening to each other
Blended families
Parenting
Separation or divorce
Being together and/or being oneself within the relationship
Life projects: marriage, birth, adoption, professional changes, etc.
Cancellation: Any session cancelled less than 24 hours in advance is due.
